There is a report stated that approximate half of the Hong Kong five years old children are having early childhood caries, besides that there are more than 90 percent of children are not yet accepting for any treatment. Early childhood caries could cause dental pain and infection, when there is severe early childhood caries, the bacteria may spread to the pulp, and gradually become tooth abscess. The more important is the damage teeth may seriously affect children absorb nutrient, which may affect children\u2019s health. Based on the information above, our kindergarten is participating the program, \u201cThe Hong Kong Jockey Club Early Childhood Dental care\u201d, which is organized by The University of Hong Kong Faculty of Dentistry and The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. The dental check-up service is provided for our students, which may have dental check-up and control the decay situation and stop the decay situation from getting worse. This program is for free and voluntary. Now we are inviting parents and your child to participate to this program.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Hong Kong Jockey Club Early Childhood Dental care\u201d Program details as the followings:<\/p>\n<p>Date: 19<sup>th <\/sup>May, 2023 (Friday)<\/p>\n<p>Time: 9:00 am.to 12:00 noon.<\/p>\n<p>Venue: Our kindergarten<\/p>\n<p>Fee: Free<\/p>\n<p>Remarks:(1) <strong>The dental check-up day may provide a parent talk of \u201cOral health education\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; (2) Dental check-up and use Silver Diamine Fluoride to treat dental caries<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; (3) provide personal inquiries for parent whose child is suffering in severe tooth decay&nbsp;<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u3010The Hong Kong Jockey Club Early Childhood Dental care\u3011 Preschooler tooth decay or early childhood caries are common dental diseases.
